The Temple Of Heaven is a magnificent sight. Standing beyond the perimeters out on the outskirts of Beijing, the temple is the symbol of power and religious beliefs of the previous kings and queens who ruled in Beijing.
The history of the chinese rulers in the temple is diverse: chinese emperors were known as "tianzi" or the son of heaven, so had to recede to the power of the heavens and worship it. Not only do they have to worship heaven, but the gods of water, war and earth as well. Religious sacrifices, preying and offerings to gods and ancestors therefore play an important part in lives of many chinese.
The walk to the temple is quite long. As you pass, you actually realise how quiet the area is. The walkways are large, clean and the views punctuated with beautiful green scenery and traditional cultural wall designs ...

, bath foam/shower gel and body cream, a shower cap, nail file, sewing kit and shoe shine.
The main feature of the rooms is that they include wooden shutters instead of curtains which are extremely effective at blacking out the room.

Advantages: Cheapish, comfortable, clean and new Disadvantages: on a ringroad - but not a problem really

I found the HolidayInn Express Cheltenham to be excellent value for money, very clean, well situated and with all the elements for a peaceful and agreable overnight stay.
Location:
The hotel is situated right in the centre of Cheltenham, a town which is on the edge of the Cotswolds and an agreable destination in its own right. The hotel was easily found being opposite "The Brewery", a new food and retail development that is well sign posted. The building is very new looking and plastered white - the HolidayInn Express new logo makes it easy to spot.
Parking is in the neighbouring NCP carpark, which was secure enough, or the hotel is a short stroll from the High Street.
