Despo Hotel in gouves is my only get away. I love to stay at Despo as the people are so friendly and the hotel is safe and private. As it is not a massive hotel (74 rooms) you can really relax when you have children. My little girl loves to come hear for our holidays. The staff are so lovely and very friendly they know who you are from the moment you check in and always say hello. The rooms are lovely and clean, you can see the sea from all the front rooms. The food is lovely but you always end up eating to much. The shops are near by and the locals always chat. The sea is a lovely ten minute walk from Despo down a little winding road that has shops bars and resturants. I love it here. ...

Falesia Hotel
The hotel isn't actually in Albufeira but in Acoteias, which is about 15 minutes from the city of Albufeira, 20 minutes from Villamoura and 30-40 minutes from Faro Airport. We booked the holiday through Thomson. This is classed as a Thompson Gold holiday as the hotel is a 4 star. We paid £330 per person for 7 nights half board in the month of April. So was it worth it? Let's see.
When we arrived at the hotel, we had to queue up for our rooms to get allocated. The people on the desk were friendly and helpful.
The Room
The hotels has 170 rooms. I think because I had requested a double bed, our options were limited. We were given a room on the second floor but unlike the rest of the rooms that had keycards, we given keys. Room 211A. The room was nice but seemed to be a lot smaller than the other ...
Advantages: Gorgeous beaches, fantastic nightlife, amazing weather, kids clubs are excellent, great weather Disadvantages: (you don't want to leave!!), food at hotel is not so good.
I stayed in the Hotel Miami, Ibiza last year with two friends and I enjoyed my experience so much I'm going again next year.
Ibiza is the ultimate young people's holiday destination - but this hotel is family friendly aswell - kids clubs are excellent!
If you're looking to go abroad this year whatever your age and interests I sincerely recommend Ibiza. The beaches are clean and gorgeous, the sun is warm on your back, the sand is hot on your feet - I LOVE IBIZA!!
The nightlife - well, thats just too exciting to put into words! We tried a different club every night and I didn't want to leave any one of them. Some of the drinks were quite expensive in some of them, but the atmospheres in all of them was just immense. You can hear the music pounding around the club and it just brings you completely to life.
