Hooters (Nottingham)

There is also a sign on the door saying that there is a wireless broadband connection available in the restaurant however I think that there are better things to be looking at in Hooters than a computer screen.

Overview

I was up in Nottingham this weekend as part of a massive rowing competition, after which me and the lads were taking a trip back to our hotel and we drove past Hooters and being in a group of 16 year old boys and thought we have to go there, we went back to the hotel got changed then embarked on our journey.

== Service ==

Considering that the restaurant was completely packed with people on stag nights we were allocated a table almost instantly. For those who don't know the staffs in Hooters is almost entirely female, with very little cloths and big ‘Hooters’. The whole time we were given very quick service and were always greeted with a smile, and we even got to have our picture taken with one of the waitresses.

== The menu ==

On first glance the menu looks very basic, but if you read it there is a lot of choice from the seafood choices, the sandwiches, chicken wings, a Varity of sides and starters.

Our table only had two different types of dishes but on looking around the restaurant all of the food was presented to a very high standard and no one looked as if they were not enjoying their food.

Also on the menu it is possible to by clothes so you can say ’been there, done that, got the t-shirt’ these range in price from t-shirts to rugby tops to golf balls.

== The food ==

Well boys being boys we ordered the biggest thing on the menu which so happened to be a tray of BBQ chicken wings for £19.99 it said there was 50, which I felt to be too much so I decided that with my friend we should share one. Again thanks to quick service we had our food in about 5-10 minutes and were shocked to see this massive tray covered in chicken we counted as we went and found their to be closer to 90 wings than 50. But never backing down from a challenge we ate the lot and then a bowl of curly fries.

== The drinks ==

After stuffing our faces you really did need something to wash it all down and being underage we were restricted to soft drinks really and they did have a large variety available to try. They also had a variety of different beers, ales and spirits available.

== Entertainment ==

Well the walls of Hooters were basically lined with TV’s displaying a variety of different sports whilst there, there was cricket and football on and highlights of the days sport to suite any ones needs.

There is also a sign on the door saying that there is a wireless broadband connection available in the restaurant however I think that there are better things to be looking at in Hooters than a computer screen.

There is also a jukebox so you can pick out the tunes for the boys and have a great time.

As well as all this there are also frequent drinking games being played usually downing competitions in which t-shirts can be won, and just provide great entertainment to watch and participate in.

== Atmosphere ==

Like I said most of the people who go here, go here for stag nights so if you’re looking for a quite meal then stay well clear, but if you looking to have a good time and a good laugh then head straight in and you wont be disappointed at all, just remember to keep a designated driver.

== Cleanliness ==

Considering how busy the restaurant was the toilets were kept amazingly clean and the floor and tables were spotless and after the above mentioned drinking games the floors were cleaned instantly and furniture returned.

== Friendliness for families ==

To be perfectly honest this is not the sort of environment that you would want to bring a young child to I would say only people over 14, I would also say that females would not enjoy the experience as much as males, but as far as father son meals go it’s a sure fire hit.

However I think that of you did go there with your family you would still enjoy it a lot and enjoy the food.

== Value for money ==

Our bill came to £73 for five of us so about £15 per head but that was a very large meal and 2 drinks each and sides, so I felt that this was a fair price.

Like I mentioned before you can also buy cloths to mark the occasion and I most certainly did I brought a t-shirt for £10 which isn’t too bad really.
