Advantages: serious, easy to use, no agency fees Disadvantages: little bit expensive but the quality must be paid
...I love self-made travels but to manage them i always need serious internet operators because i have to chose and book accomodations, cars and ferry tickets.
I've found recently a good local specialist for Sardinia. I've apreciated its site: simply to use, with complete information, good pictures and a easy email booking process.
I've booked for myself an hotel and an holiday car and i had a very nice holiday. The hotel was consistent with the internet description, hotel rates without agency fees, the car rental service serious and efficient. The staff of the sardinian operator friendly and helpfull.
I recommend the website www.domus-tour.it for whom would like to discover Sardinia in complete liberty but with the support of a local serious and available broker....

Advantages: very nice Disadvantages: 500 meters from the centre
...I spent a wonderful holiday in Sardinia this summer.
Now I want to tell you something about a very nice hotel not very expensive.
It is located in the Costa Smeralda in the North of Sardinia, one of the most beautiful italian corner.
Location
It is located in Baja Sardinia, only 4 kilometers far from Porto Cervo.
In the village, there are every kind of services (medical service, pharmacy, church, shops…)
The Hotel is situated 500 meters from the centre of this village.
Beaches
Near the Hotel, there is an enchanting beach called "Tre Monti". It is little but wonderful.
Hotel
The building is very nice, surrounded from flowers and plants.
In the central building thre are the receptions, restourants, tv room and bar.
The rooms are dislocated in little buildings of two floors.
Thre are a swimming pool with deck-chairs and beach...

Advantages: beautiful Disadvantages: it's not a white spot on the map any more
...I should warn you: this is the longest opinion I've written so far. A double espresso beside your computer might help you to get through the reading. Not a cup of tea, we're going to coffee country! In case you think of going to Sardinia or any other Italian region one day, forget about tea altogether. Only a masochist would order tea in an Italian bar (as only an Italian masochist would order coffee in a British establishment, so there). When you offer tea to an Italian, you might hear, "No, thank you, I'm fine." Italians drink tea, black or the herbal variety, when they feel unwell, it's medicine for them.
Now, have you got your coffee ready? Off we go.
HOW TO GET THERE
The majority of German tourists go to Sardinia by car and ferry, the majority of British tourists go there by plane. Ah, yes, of course, I hear you saying...
