After enjoying the previous book I reviewed (see dead to the world review), I ploughed straight on with the next in the series.

While I am at college, I am currently working part time at Sainsbrys. Now, before I started working there, I had 10 decent length finger nails, but within a week of starting, they disapeared. I have also noticed, that as soon as I get a nail at a decent length, I break it, at work.
I have never really had strong nails but I thought that there must be something out there that can strenghtne them and make them less brittle. I did a search on boots.com and came across Sally Hansen Hard As Nails. I purchased it for 4.25 from Boots. I think the picture above must be an old one as the product is now in a normal looking nail varnish bottle with a long silver handle. (See picture)
The varnish looks as though it has a slight pink hint to it, which I think it has. This helps to make the varnish look more natural on your nail.

Background:
A few weeks ago I read the first book written by Charlaine Harris, 'Dead until Dark'. Following this I was keen to try another one from her, featuring Sookie Stackhouse as the heroine. So when I saw this one in my local charity shop I snapped it up.
About the author:
Charlaine Harris was born in Tunica in Mississippi on the 25th November 1951. Having spent her early years in employment as a Typesetter for Federal Express, she decided to try her hand at her big passion writing. Since then she has written 30 books of which eight have featured Sookie Stackhouse as her lead character. This novel I'm reviewing is the fifth in the series.
