Arosa is perfect for late-season skiing or snowboarding. I have just been there (mid-April) and there was fresh snow every day, and clear skies most days.
There is a great variety of runs, with plenty of beginner slopes on the Weisshorn Mittelstation and plenty of interlinking red and black runs, with accessable off-piste on the Hörnli. (In fact, the only resort which I have been to which is better is Kitzbühel, which has some fantastic off-piste, but the snow is practically gone by this time of year.)
There is a regular and free bus service linking Arosa and Inner Arosa (which takes about 5 minutes).
Good bars in Arosa include: Casino bar, Los, Sitting Bull, Laetitia's is good for apres ski (but see below).
Good restaurants: Orchidee Palast (Chinese), Restaurant Derby (Swiss).
Avoid Laetitia's Mexican restaurant at all ...

ive had this car for 4 years now, and it still runs as well today as it did when i initially bought it. i have had to relace only minimum parts during my yearly service, things likr brakepads which is just general wear and tear. although it has a small engine, its a nippy wee car, i love driving it. it is so easy to drive and handles all weather conditions well.also, because of the size, parking is so easy.
i've never had a problem with this car, and have encouraged two of my friends to buy the same model, both of whom love their cars. downside is the sixe of the boot, but the big back seat more than makes up for that! i would buy another arosa in a heartbeat. ...

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times, always in March and yes you?ve probably guessed, it?s when Crufts is on at the NEC.
Strange but a few years ago you had to book wayyy way in advance to get a room but with this recession where all going through, getting a room is easy. I suppose the stick that Crufts came under last year didn?t help either but anyhow getting back to the hotel.
You can easily book a room and they vary in price from £120 to £220 depending on things such as lake view, breakfast included or evening meal and breakfast. But as March approaches then the room prices tend to rocket.
The room is a standard large bedroom and a bathroom.
What more to add to the room? It comes with TV, Kettle, Ironing equip, small table and 2 comfy chairs. We ...
