You can continute to earn poits when you spend on the card, and get bonsu points if you buy flights through the website with the card.
You can also transfer points to the scheme from Americain Express and BAA 'world points'

Advantages: good prices, bar downstairs Disadvantages: too far from Temple Bar area
...to the hotel bar and could not for love get served as the place was packed with people that weren't even residents!. The rooms were nice and big, en-suite bathroom/toilet, tea and coffee making equipment, (hidden in a drawer??!!) portable television, desk and chair etc. no decent view to speak of, but if you are on a real tight budget or if you are a group of guys on a 'stag do' then this may do for you. Personally I wouldn't stay there again because of the distance to Temple Bar from the hotel. by the way, the pub next door called 'Nancy Hands' is very good for food and guinness....

Advantages: Location is superb. Very comfortable, great facilities and superb staff! Disadvantages: Nothing, apart from the uncertainty regarding the on-line booking
...Amsterdam is home to three Crowne Plaza hotels; there's one at Schiphol airport, there's the "Americaine", and then there's the "Crowne Plaza City Centre". It's at the latter that we recently had the pleasure of staying. Five minutes' walk from the Centraal (sic) Station which, itself, is a one-stop, 3.90 Euro, journey from Schiphol airport, I thought that its location was absolutely ideal.
This review breaks the mould - amongst other things. I am usually travelling with my wife, Amanda, and the nearly-three-years-old baby Josh. Amsterdam, however, is no place for a toddler and it was thus that I found myself on a trip away with two good friends, Mark and Chris. Oh dear! Mathematician that I am, I feel an equation coming on.....Three blokes + Amsterdam = Trouble!
