After convincing my boyfriend that we should go to paris for our summer holidays it was up to me to choose the hotel. As we had never been to paris before i had no idea which hotel to choose. After having looked at many websites i decided to opt for the star etoilehotel as it was in our budget and was very central.
We booked our holiday from the 23-29th of july and it cost us 109 euros per nite for a double room. we decided not to get the buffet breakfast as this would cost us an extra 13 euros each per day and we had read reviews that there was plenty of cheap places to eat near the hotel.
When we arrived at paris the hotel is a bus ride from the charles de gaulle airport and costs 13 euros per person and takes about 1hour. the bus dropped us off near the arc de triomphe and from here the hotel is a short walk.
we arrived ...
Advantages: Excellent location and good value for money Disadvantages: Not suitable for disabled people
The Hotel
The Bellevue hotel is a three star hotel and has 36 rooms, which are all nicely decorated in either burgundy or blue tones. It is a four storey building with lots of parisian style.
The hotel is a small independantly run hotel which is in a fantastic location 19 Rue d' orsel, 7518 Paris which is at the foot of the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre.
I had pre-booked a taxi online when I booked this break. Taxi was from the Charles de Gaulle airport and when we arrived the Bellevue Hotel was lit up outside and looked very warm and welcoming.
The hotel has a small reception desk which is open twenty four hours and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. At the side of the reception desk there is a large rack with lots of tourist information leaflets on where to go and places of interest ...
Advantages: Location is great and price not bad for location Disadvantages: Poor standard generally
Another hotel that I saw whilst visiting Paris was this particular one - I was quite keen to see this one as the company I work for sell lots of rooms here which is due to partly the location and the good price of the hotel considering its location.
The hotel:
The hotel is a pretty basic hotel of the 3 star standard that is geared at those guests on a budget. It is only a small building and is family run too.
Location:
So what exactly is the location of this hotel that is so popular because of where it is? Well it is not far from the famous Arc De Triomphe and the Champs Elysee. In fact it is only less than 5 minutes away from the Arc and is officially located in the 17th Arondissemont and located at 4 Rue Des Acacias. The location is really the true selling point of this hotel.
First impressions:
When we pulled up I was ...
