Dharmawangsa Hotel is one of nice-looking yet comfortable hotel in Jakarta. It's not like the other big star hotel spread in Jakarta, The most busiest city in Indonesia, and the big ten in the world!. But not like the city, Dharmawangsa is not the big hotel with 30 more floor,but more like big house for big family, seen like comfortable place, and worth-ed to pay for this, especially for who want to travel in Jakarta city. .
The first you see this hotel, you may underestimated this, but please just look the inside. very well done design!

I stayed at this 4-star hotel for 6 nights when I was training in Jakarta in 2005. Even though this is not a review about Jakarta itself, I'll start with a little bit of Jakarta which I believe is important for you when deciding to go there.

hmm..where should i start.jakarta is the capital city of indonesia.i think its the most populated city too.most of the area are the metropolitan kind of thing.the weather is unpredictable.it could be sunny hot in one time and an hour later it could be a hard rain pouring all over,so my advice is be prepare.umbrella is good for the city.you can use it at rain also when the sun shine brightly.the city divided into 4 areas which is west jakarta,south jakarta,north jakarta,and east jakarta.traffic is common thing in this city.you would see cars everywhere.motorcycle,buses etc.
for entertainment,you shouldn't worry.this is the place for it.malls everywhere,nightclubs in every corner.
but the thing is if you're looking for original indonesian experience unfortunately jakarta is not the best place for it.you should come to the less modern ...
