Advantages: none Disadvantages: everthing about it
...I recently stayed at the Bristol Playa in fuerteventura and it was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. The accomadation was less than standard even though it's given a 3 and 1/2 star rating . The rooms where dirty, and it is a bit off the beaten track. Although the staff were helpful the facilities left a lot to be desired . In my opinion the whole place needs a face lift. The food was ok for the first two days then went dramatically downhill after that. There were coackroaches everywhere and the entertainment was cancelled five out of the seven nights we were there. The decor was dated and paint was peeling off the walls. The woodwork looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since it was fitted and although our rep moved us to another room there was very little improvement.
I have stayed in other hotels in Fuerteventura and Lanzarote...

Advantages: Lots to do. Disadvantages: Quite a walk from town.
...First imressions are great, the hotel reception was very well presented. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
The resort has lots to offer, the swimming pools are amazing the thing that got me were size of them! Also they are salt water pools which is much better for the skin!
The rooms are very spacious and clean. With kichen, lounge, large bathroom and good size double bedroom. The kicthen has hob, mircowave, toaster, kettle fridge. So you are able to cook decent meals if you want to stay in sometimes.
The lougne has TV, DVD player again very handy.
Good size belcony with means to dry clothes.
On site is a shop so you can stock up on all the bits you need.
Overall great resort, plenty to do, good bars, restuarants and entertainment is ok.
9/10...

Advantages: Perfect for a relaxing holiday, a beach lovers paradise Disadvantages: It can be deceptively windy in June/July
...I have visted Fuerteventura twice and I have visited many parts of the Island. I was 19 when I went last, with my boyfriend. We stayed at Playa Park Hotel in Corralejo in 2004.
The Hotel was simple yet cosy, fantastic for a young couple, it had everything we needed. We didnt have any trouble at the hotel, the staff were pleasant and helpful. The tour rep was available if required, and we arranged a trip to the south of the Island (Jandia) which was equally as beautiful as Corralejo.
The long sandy beaches are stunning, especially the sandunes. Camel rides are availble on the beach, although we didnt get chance to ride them.
We stayed self-catering and I believe it was worth it. There are a choice of restaurants and bars in the evenings which range from quiet local bars, to lively clubs. It is not expensive when compared to British...
