Advantages: close to everything, clean, great food Disadvantages: drinks pricey
I had one of the best holidays ive ever had at this hotel! I turned 21 on the 7th of this month, and to celebrate me and my boyfriend wanted to book a cheapy holiday abroad. We picked Spain, as he isnt too keen on long flights and we knew what we was getting with Spain (alot of english speaking locals, english food etc) so we went to our local Thomson and got some into about Costa Dourada. What attracted us to this part of Spain is its fantastic location to alot of attractioncs (Barcelona, Port Aventura etc) and the prices didnt seem too bad either! We was offered alot of hotels in Salou but as we wanted a more quiet, romantic holiday we didnt want to be in the centre of all the hustle and bustle so when we read up on the Camrbils Princess it seemed perfect for us. Cambrils is a small fishing town mostly populated by locals, about a 15 ...
Advantages: Best reality show in history Disadvantages: where's the Roman blood-lust?
No, this movie most certainly is not 'Gladiator', simply because it is more authentic. Augustus' portrays Rome's first emperor (yes, first, for anyone who thinks, like i once did, that Julius Caesar was) according to the wealth of evidence supplied by various ancient authors. This is the closest i have yet seen Augustus portrayed, and it was made extra special by the fantastic acting abilities of Peter O'Toole. The story goes from the young Octavian's life, to the trials and tribulations he met when he became Augustus, to his fight to win over the people of Rome, all the while battling it out with the senate, traitorous family members and former allies who were meant to be friends, not helped by his daughter's rebellious streak, which posed a bit of a threat (to put it mildly) to his political position, especially when the imperial ...

We've been to salou and Cambrils a couple of times and with children there's plenty to keep them happy.
There's Port Aventura well worth a visit, the beaches are good but found the beach at Cambrils a lot quieter.
If you you go to Barcelona a must see if you're a football fan is the Nou Camp Stadium, and with the fella's now happy you can take the children to the zoo and finish off with a treat for the ladies Shopping is great.
The hotel we stayed in was The Cambrils Princess in Cambrils(I think it is now called the Cambrilshotel .
Lovely hotel and the food was excellent when we were there but that was a number of years ago now ,so don't quote me on that!..they had theme evenings in the restuarant and you were even serenaded too ...
