Hotel Balci, Marmaris

Advantages: small paradise ,nice and cheap food and clothes,very close to beach
Disadvantages: The hotel was noisy after amidnight.

...MARMARIS=PARADIS i have been in marmaris on july 2007, and i should say this place is beautiful place and you may try another beech you should go to icmeler beech which is moor clear beech AND IT is takes 10 min by bus and recomend you to try jeep safari and boat safari lot of moor entrainment and dont forget to go to turkish bath in your hotel and 4 star hotel Anemon Hotel with beatiful view,100 meters to the sea ,very good quality food . .and i think is very nice for 2 weeks because i have been for a week and whenever i wanted to come back i have been unhappy and the thing i didnot like when i went to shopping the sellers call you to go to them shop and buy things from them, and allways i recomend you whenever you going shopping ask shop keepers for discount for example an item they saying 50 lireh you can pay35 lireh so you save 15... ...If you get the chance to go to marmaris here are a few places to try. The first it called famous fun pub & restaurant, in here you can get a 5 course meal for 13 lira (about £5) this includes, any soup,any chicken or meat dish (excuding fillet & t-bone steak) garlic bread, fresh fruit platter, and a beer or soft drink. real value for money! Famous is just across from art marmaris hotel, the next is in icmeler to get there take the dolmus and go to a place called hobgoblin bar , the guy in here is married to a scot girl and is a bit of a character in marmaris almost all locals say they are married to a scot or know someone who is scottish but this guy is the real thing so go to the hobgoblin you wont be disappointed.The dolmus to icmeler cost appx of 1.75 lira (about .60p) and is well worth the experience so to anyone thinking of going... Advantages: Good resort

...We stayed at the Mirage hotel, Icmeler, which is just around the bay from Marmaris and had a fantastic time. We travelled with First Choice and couldn't fault either the hotel, the resort or the travel arrangements. Our hotel had an excellent swimming pool just outside our room and there were numerous restaurants to visit. One of the highlights of our trip was a locally booked excursion to Pamukkale and Ephesus, very reasonable prices that included an overnight stay in a 5 star hotel. We found the local people very friendly and eager to please. I would recommend visiting the market that sets up in Icmeler. The only drawback was the fact that Icmeler has black sand.... Read review
