...to realise he was nodding off and gave him a quick elbow to wake him up. Luckily for us we made it in one piece but not without praying.
All in all though we had a good holiday and our experience of the bellavista hasn't put us off going back to it in the future although we like to try different hotels. But if you want a basic base, not too expensive and don't mind it being out of the main hustle and bustle but within walking distance then this hotel is ideal....

Advantages: All-inclusive, clean Disadvantages: Awful food, very poor pool
...On a girls holiday to Malta in the summer, we booked this hotel as part of a package deal. Unfortunately (or fortunately as it turned out!) when we arrived we were told that they had overbooked the hotel and that we were being moved to the Dolmen Hotel (see review) for the first four nights of our 7 night holiday. We were annoyed as we didn't know what the Dolmen was going to be like (excellent as it turned out).
LOCATION:
The hotel's address is: Qawra Coast Road, Qawra St. Paul's Bay SPB 1908, Malta.

Advantages: Climate, pool terrace on top of building Disadvantages: Staff, facilities, rooms the whole experience
...We visited Malta for the first time 2 years ago and stayed at this hotel and I can assure you we would never consider the BellaVista again.
We are widely travelled to 3rd world places like India and this so called 2 star hotel was an insult to 2 stars.
The food was okay but unimaginative, the location was noisy and quite a way from the main town, the rooms can only be described a s adequate and we had a ridiculously small balcony ( we had to take turns to sit on it !) overlooking what seemed like a housing estate.
What was particularly awful was the many restrictions, the rudeness and disinterest of the staff and their total lack of customer care. It seemed as if they couldn't care less about the guests and just seemed interested in enforcing petty rules. I was told off ( yes actually told off) by the head waiter in front of other...

Hello and welcome to the review that should have been here. It was here but its not here now as I have taken it and put it into my private stash somewhere else. It may well appear somewhere else online and if it does it will have my name on it. Thank you more
