Advantages: near all sorts of shops, staff is very good, clean and very quiet inside espically night time, Disadvantages: may get noisey outside at night because town is where hotel is made
BellHotel is very modern i stayed in the hotel for about a week whislt i took a took around thetford was pretty fun actually. My family seemed to enjoy it too. The hotel is haunted in centurys back ghost are wondering around the place aslo has a secret passage way somewhere in the hotel. The Hotel is placed in the middle of a town in Thetford next to all sorts of shops, Reastraunts, cafes, Takeaways, clothing shops, Locals ect ect..
I would recommend anyone coming to thetford to live for a short-Long term of time the bellhotel is very nice to stay in, staff is very nice and caring as were to my disabiled sister they treated her very nicely and average to all other customers. ...
Advantages: variety of activities and nice food Disadvantages: a bit isolated
We stayed in a villa @ Belle Mare Plage for our honeymoon. The accomodation was amazing and the facilities, bars, restaurants, everything was fab. The food is fantastic, the buffets are lovely, every food you could possibly imagine! There are free watersports inc waterskiing, pedalos, glass bottom boat ride and snorkelling - the snorkelling was excellent, loads of fish on the reefs. Ther is a gym with various classes including yoga and a spa which did a great massage. The only down side to the hotel is that it is isolated, there is a town nearby that you can walk/cycle to but it's quite a trek, other than that its a taxi ride anywhere so you are pretty much stuck in the hotel on a night, they do have entertainment, dancers or a live band.
We are saving up to go back asap! Highly recommended, a brilliant holiday. ...
Advantages: lovely historic city Disadvantages: may be limiting if you want a big city scene

In previous years we have mostly stayed in Dorset (UK) and France, and I have travelled a lot elsewhere in Europe. My son goes to football practice every Saturday and one of the other Dads suggested Switzerland.
Immediately I could think of many reasons not to go there - its too upmarket, too expensive and surely its not going to be as hot as say the Mediterranean or the Costas?
However I got a guide book and it seemed Switzerland had got a lot to offer - the Alps obviously, cycling and walking countryside, loads of Lakes (where the weather looked promising), culture, shops, historic cities and loads of scenic railway routes which would appeal to my son.
We booked a self-catering chalet about 10 miles from Bern, and decided to take the car ...
