I visited here in Augist 2006 and had a fantastic time - the pools were lovely, the staff were friendly and knowledgable about the surrounding area, and several bar crawls were organised, the hotel had a mix of Spanish, German and English people, and the buffet tea was to die for, always satisfied with the food and the choice provided. Hotel is close to the beach and the several nightclubs and centres that Gran Canaria offers. This hotel is situated in Playa de Ingles. I consider the hotel to be of an extremely high standard, clean, friendly and welcoming. There were entertainment evenings planned by the hotel and a lovely outdoor bar next to the pool. Definitely reccomend it and will be returning there soon hopefully! More than I would expect from a 3 star hotel! ...

Once you arrive from the airport after the 2.5 hour flight to Croatia you pull up outside the HotelPark & from the front of the hotel it looks very big & quite sophisticated. There are about 5 steps up to the reception, which is quite difficult when you have to carry your own luggage. Once you are at the entrance of the hotel you are faced with a large open space. Having viewed this site prior to booking our holiday I decided that there's only one way really to find out, and that's to go!! Everyone's tastes and standards are different so read reviews but ultimately what is fantastic for one family may be a disappointment for another.

Very clean however VERY basic bedrooms, ours had a prison type metal bunk bed at the foot of two singles put together, reminisant from a scene of Porridge!!!!
The whole hotel has either tiled or marble floors which was VERY noisy,even a fairy in slippers would have sounded like a herd of buffalo stampeding across the Sarangeti !! Had the rooms had carpets then this would of deadened some of the noise. Unfortunately our room was next to the stairwell so we heard all and sundry coming and going, and to add insult we overlooked the tarmac carpark rather ...
