The Beaufort is an absolute MUST!

Advantages: Location, location, location, free bar (incl champagne) and gorgeous surroundings
Disadvantages: Bathroom quite small

ABSOLUTELY MUST STAY HERE! It is a hidden gem in amongst the chaos of London! We stayed last December for 2 nights whilst Christmas Shopping. It was so serene it was fab. We upgraded our room to a suite and it was def worth it. The room was large and so clean! I could've moved in. We had everything we needed and it was like a home from home. The free bar is fab. I couldn't believe it was all free! There is either a bar in the reception area you can help yourselves to or this is a downstairs lounge with a bar too. This includes champagne and proper branded beers, wines and spirits! All chilled and with ice buckets available too! There are snacks etc to help yourself too to. In the lounge there are comfy sofas, sky tv and also complimentary internet access. The hotel is small and you feel like it really is your own house ...

Hotel International

Advantages: Location, breakfasts
Disadvantages: Poor rooms

I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time ...

Review of Hotel International, Paris

Norbreck Castle Hotel

Advantages: Out of the town
Disadvantages: Too many people!

I'm glad that I did not get to read any of the reviews before I went to this hotel, or see the Holidays from Hell programme the night before! The hotel can be found along the seafront, about three miles from the main centre of Blackpool, heading out towards Fleetwood. It is now under the Britannia hotels group and it is easily accessible by tram and bus. We used the trams the whole time instead of me driving all the time. My husband, my two youngest children and myself went last week for a couple of nights, after finding an advert which gave a special price of £35 per person dinner bed and breakfast per night. The two children were included free of charge, including their meals. The advert did state that the hotel was ungoing a £7million pound upgrade, and that some services may not be available. This did not deter us as we ...
