I stayed at Calafont Hotel from 5th - 19th September 2005. This is my review:
We arrived late evening with family and friends.
I was sharing a room with my Partner and our 9mth old Son, so we all went to reception to get our keys. We doubled checked with them that there was a cot in our room (as a member of the family had pre-ordered them) to our astonishment they said "we don't have cots here". There was nothing we could do about it so we took the lift up to our room where we found 3 single beds. The only thing we could think of doing was pushing all the beds together against a wall so the baby wouldn't fall out when he was asleep.
In the next morning we went down for breakfast (we were half board) the staff were friendly, the food was adaquete. The hotel looked beautiful they even had an amazing man-made waterfall. I couldn't believe my eyes i never imagined the hotel to look like this especially for a 3 star hotel. We decided to have a look around the beach which was right next to the hotel.
The first week we were there was ok, but the second week dragged as there was nothing to do (in walking distance). I think the holiday would suit older couples (50+) or people who didn't want to venture very far. The area is quiet and very scenic. There are private beaches and views across the ocean. There are also a few places (restaurants, pubs) close by .

Some more information about the hotel, prices, where it is, how you get there, is it just for B&B or does it cater for other meals..... all of which would be helpful to potential consumers :o) let me know if you add more information and I will be back to re-read/rate for you :o)
