Hotel Cala Font, Salou > Reviews (3)

I visited Salou in June 2007 and stayed at the CALA FONT HOTEL.
This was my first time abroad, (I went as a single parent with my children ages 10 and 14) so we didn't really know what to expect, we arrived in the early hours of the morning so couldn't really see much, but it all looked very nice on arrival and through the reception.
On waking in the morning we had the chance to look around, the room was clean and tidy, we had a view of the pool, but could also see the beach from our balcony, lovely views. The hotel is right on the beach and has it's own private beach, which is quite small really but a huge public beach is just around the back of the hotel. The food was quite good, there is a house chef who has a dish of the day which he cooks in the restaurant rather that in the kitchen, well it isn't really a "dish" it's usually a meat, eg, steaks etc. The only downside that I found with this holdiay was the entertainment, which to be honest wasn't very good at all, we only stayed for a week but I think that had it been more than that we would have been very bored.
