been respected thoroughly, in the prestigious Cala Capra bay, a completely unspoilt corner of Sardinia only 4 km far from Palau and 40 km far from Olbia. It is one of the most beautiful destinations in the island, set in front of the Archipelago of La Maddalena and close to the famous Costa Smeralda. Romantic and exclusive, The Hotel is hidden in a wood of wild olive trees and junipers, with a 10-hectare-park surrounded by mistral and westerly winds -sheltered beaches. With its own little harbour, this hotel, elegant and simple, has got its own peculiar charm and offers many different services like: two restaurants with an excellent cuisine based on genuine Sardinian products and table served, breakfast served in the park and accompanied by relaxing harp melodies, the golf and the ?Thalasso & Spa? Centre a few steps from the sea. The Hotel consists of 84 rooms decorated with the typical Sardinian style by renowned interior decorators and equipped with: balcony or veranda with small table and chairs, bathroom with shower, air conditioning, telephone, Sky TV, hair dryer, safe and mini bar. Furthermore bath robes for Him and for Her provided.
Advantages: Beautiful beaches and rugged scenery Disadvantages: Expensive around Costa Smeralda
...island. I was amazed at how many woody plants were growing even at heights of around 800metres, where the soil is acid there are lots of cork oak trees and the cork products are available in local shops. Oak trees of different sorts grow all over the island, as do olive trees and fig trees and there is a lot of shrub woodland which grows up to 5 metres and is called “macchia”. Although I understand we didn’t visit at the best time to see lots of flowers we did however notice heather and little rock roses and other flowers which I did not recognise. We didn’t touch the huge flowering cactus or prickly pear for obvious reasons!
In the eastern half of Sardinia granite is very prominent. We decided to visit the famous Bear Rock, it is found near Capod’Orso, there is a charge for the car park but it wasn’t expensive. The climb up to it has been...

Advantages: Architecture, a modernism jewel Disadvantages: Acoustic.
...sculpture itself, at the top you will admire a 3d concave cupola of painted glass, that creates a movement sensation while you are walking inside. The stage front is amazing at the sides you will apreciate the sculptures of Pau Gargallo and Dídac Massana, representing the "Cavalcade of the Valkirias" at one side, and "Beethoven" at the other, the stage contains various sculptures in high relief, that represent the Music musas. Another amazing detail.
Which are the principal installations of "El Palau"?
MQ. El Palau has two kind of installations:
The Modernist spaces and the New Spaces.
The Modernists are composed by the Concer Hall, the facade, the lobby, "Foyer Hall", space used for special events, "Sala Luis Millet", the resting space, very simple, its most characteristic element is the large stained glass window, which looks out onto...

Advantages: Not as busy as neighbouring resort Ayia Napa Disadvantages: Can't think of any really................
...Five minutes down the road from Ayia Napa is the town of Protoras. This is a fab town with quite a nightlife of it's own. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from including the Only Fools and Horses bar which we loved. They are all reasonably priced aswell and everything is in walking distance. This resort is great for families too and has a lovely beach to sunbathe on in the day. If you want to venture out to Ayia Napa, it will cost you about a fiver in a cab. A great hotel to stay at is the Capo Bay hotel which is located right on the beach and is very luxurious. A little pricey but well worth the money. (Our friends stayed there and we were very jealous to say the least) And the diving is great. 'Andreas' runs a diving school which used to be located in the capo bay hotel but is now in the main high street in Protoras. You can...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.

I lived in New York City for a few years, but had little experience of its hotels until after I'd moved away. My husband and I stayed in the Library Hotel in late August of 2004 for two nights. After spending a few nights in one of its sister hotels the... more
