Advantages: Inexpensive to get to from UK, fab scenery, great food and lots of sunshine! Disadvantages: Crowded beach and limited amenities in resort
...to eat, it was situated inland a little but food and atmosphere were very good.
In contrast The Hotel Arco Iris - also situated on the beach wasn't so great. I was disappointed by meal there. I opted for the seafood spaghetti which might have been more acurately described as Spaghetti and squid - it was difficult to know where the squid stopped and the spaghetti began!
Other than the restaurants Camp De Mar has little to offer. The night life is limited to the hotels and there are very few shops. However, a short taxi ride or drive away is the resort of Peguera - A great place to do your souvenir shopping and for a more lively night out but not too overrun by English 'chavs'.
Camp De Mar is a great location to explore the South West region of Majorca. Port Andraxt was a short drive away - it is a very upmarket little fishing port...

Advantages: Great location, good value for money & nice food Disadvantages: Horrible bathrooms
...For my 21st Birthday my boyfriend and I were planning to go to London to get my Birthday present. We decided to drive down which I though would be too long to drive there and back on the same day so we opted to drive down the night before and book into a hotel. So the day before (the night we wanted to stay) I spent 3 hours trawling the Internet looking for somewhere suitable.

Advantages: Great Hotel, Great Location & Very Friendly Staff Disadvantages: Have to pay per night for fridge in room
...World World & Universal Theme Parks (transport shuttles are on timetables, which are provided to you on arrival and you must book your seat the previous night, it's also nice/customary to tip the drivers $1 per person). You can also purchase your theme park tickets from the booth in the hotel lobby, but beware of the timeshare sales pitch - do not go on this I have heard it's a waste of a whole day.
All rooms have great views as this is a round hotel & are very well maintained daily by the housekeepers/maids (don't forget to hang the door notice thing on your door handle outside of your room if you want a lie-in in the mornings and the maids will come back later in the day). The rooms are just a nice size with the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. I normally can't sleep the first night when I go anywhere, but as soon as I...
