...I was in Majorca last year, in July, and the only thing I can tell you is "Majorca is a paradise". It's not only the sea and the beach, it's not only his night life, it's not only the sun... Majorca has all you need for your hollidays. First, I was in a hotel from El Arenal, about 10 miles away the capital, Ciudad de Palma. The beach there is so quite, and no many people baths in it. There are all service you can need for a day, restaurants, bars, shopping, people with cold drinks... and WC. In Ciudad de Palma, you can visit in a day all his interesting places, first of all the Cathedral. It's a town very nice, and you will finish very tired, but also very happy to see beautiful buildings, parks and places, like the Arabian Baths, with seven hundred years of history. ...Great Location & Great Staff 05/05/2007 - 12/07/2007 approx £100 per room, per night B&B. First time we have stayed at this hotel but have used the Sol Melia Group throughout Spain before. The hotel is located on the Paseo Maritimo in Palma and has excellent views over the marina and Bay of Palma and is about a 20 minute stroll to the centre of Palma. Ideal for visiting the bars and restuarants of the old town at night and the beautiful city of Palma during the day. There is also a good range of bars, cafes etc along the Paseo Maritimo if the 20 minute walk is an issue. The facilities were good especially the pool area which was spotless, had plenty of space and the best pool bar staff I've met in a long time. Advantages: Good food, brilliant entertainment, very close to all amenities.
Disadvantages: Not for people who enjoy the quieter holidays.

...Sol Trinidad is in the heart of Magaluf in majorca. Like most Sol hotels in caters for the whole family. I personally found the entertainment fantastic, and the hotel had such an enjoyable atmosphere all round. The rooms in which me and my family stayed in were spacious and lovely. The staff were very helpful and polite, and you were never stuck for something to do, whatever the weather might have been. The food was always nice, with a wide selection. There were different activities put on for the whole of the family every day, rifle shooting, archery, pool games, and other contests which you could really get into and enjoy. As an added bonus, the hotel is situated right in the town and a very short walk from the beach, everything you wanted for a lively family holiday.
