Advantages: the only place to stay in Cannes Disadvantages: Probably not the most family friendly if your children aren't used to hotels.
...Le Carlton is an institution in Cannes! It is an amazing hotel with history back to the beginning of the 1900's. It was occupied by the Germans during the second world war. The two points on either side of the hotel were shaped after a woman's breasts. Just this information shows you that it is a hotel of immense history and character. The staff are the highest paid hotel staff in Cannes and possibly the Cote d'Azur and it shows in the quality of service. For a full experience try to get a room overlooking the front of the hotel, although the side rooms are larger and some do have partial sea views. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel over anyother in the area....

Advantages: Whacky and interesting Disadvantages: Room a bit gloomy
...Each floor of the hotel is fitted out as a continent and the rooms decorated in that style. I stayed in Asia - all decorated in red and black and quite minimalist. Certainly not your average hotel and as such, things a bit difficult to work out. Anything you like in the hotel is available to buy. Very strange pillows on the bed - basically a cube and not so comfy really. Bathroom looks like a sauna and is very nice. Staff friendly - maybe a bit over attentive. Reception not the most modern - paper filling out of forms which is unusual in a modern hotel where business people stay. My room was €170 for the night which is probably quite good for Cannes...

Advantages: This is one amazing hotel with everything you want in one of the greatest cities of France Disadvantages: pretty much non-affordable for normal folks
...In september 2000 I was invited to the presentation of OPEL´s new car called Corsa. I was surprised that they did this presentation not in germany, but in Cannes, France. Furthermore I was really happy to see which hotel OPEL booked for the 3 day stay of their exclusive customers: The world famous Carlton Intercontinental Hotel at Cannes...
Famous, some of you might ask and I say yes, famous it is. Most of you know that european film festival every year at Cannes. That hotel there is that historic building in which all the major actors, directors and plenty of wannabe´s are staying.
The building itself is under a historic building law in france and so to uphold business in there the owners have to spent lots of money quite frequently to rebuild the beautiful historic outside of the hotel.
It has 7 floors and on ground level you...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
