Fantastic Hotel

Advantages: Immaculate rooms, polite and courteous staff
Disadvantages: Bathroom became rather hot and damp

Spent three nights at the Europa Tyrol, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is located opposite to the main station in Innsbruck and is only a short walk to the shops and the Golden Roof which is at the heart of the city. The hotel is actually connected to the main railway via a tunnel which offers exclusive use for guests. The rooms were immaculate, and very nicely furnished. My room had a typical Tyrolean feel which resembled a log cabin. The rooms were rather compact, however were sufficient. The bathroom was quite large and had a bath/ shower. My room however did not seem to have any ventilation in the bathroom and it did become rather damp and hot. The bedroom was air conditioned which due to the lovely weather was a godsend. The staff were all polite and would tend to every need. The bar area was clean ...

Park Central Hotel

Advantages: Superb location, comfortable accomodation, helpful staff
Disadvantages: No major disadvantages to the actual hotel itself

In "the city that never sleeps," especially if you're visiting for the first time, it's all about site-seeing, shopping, and taking advantage of New York's endless amount of restuarants. So when choosing a hotel, it's all about location! I took my first ever visit to New York (and certainly not my last, taking into consideration the amazing time I had there) in February 2007, for a school trip, and stayed in Park Central Hotel. FIRST IMPRESSIONS I was delighted when we first arrived at the Park Central hotel - the immaculate lobby and reception area, with brown leather sofas and sparkling floor tiles, was classy and modern. We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us our room keys, and we went off up the lifts (we didn't fancy taking the stairs, having being accomodated on numerous floors up the building!) to our room ...

Right in Central Bath - a Cheap Hotel

Advantages: Cheap, close to shops, clubs and restaurants
Disadvantages: Noisy, below par surroundings

I've stayed in a few Travelodges over the years and I have a particular view of them. This Travelodge did not live up to that image, I was quite disappointed with this hotel. Bear in mind that I've stayed in Travelodges in Portsmouth, Milton Keynes, etc, Bath is a few steps up on the "posh" scale so I was expecting maybe slightly more of this Travelodge. Not the slightly less that I received. My partner and I went to Bath Travelodge for three nights over Valentine's weekend. Just a slight distance from the train station, a taxi at night is needed but it's an easy walk in the daylight, straight through all of the shops. Even from the outside, this TL is unlike most others. There are no huge, glaring signs pointing it out to every passerby, in fact I think you could easily miss it. Being in the town centre there is no car park, which is ...
