Quick review of Hotel Citadel, Amsterdam Review ofHotel Citadel, Amsterdamby

I found the service very appauling. I found a bug in my pudding and there was no towels in my bathroom. I had to go out and buy some from a near by shop. It also took 3 hours for the room service to bring me a dohnut and a can of coke. It should take minutes let alone seconds for the room service to bring me a dohnut and a can of coke!. The manager said i was lying and i planted the bug and lied about the room service and i appently stole the towels. I am giving this Hotel one star because of the bad service and i am never comming again.
Advantages: central location and homely Disadvantages: the trams at night, ask for room at rear

The rooms are small,i have only had a single room, but adequate with en suite and tea making facilities. The breakfast area is a bit cramped and is located opposite the also small reception but i feel this lends to the homely atmosphere .I found the staff to be freindly and helpfull and on the day i checked out let me leave my belongings in the safehold whilst i went into the city to kill ...

Hotel CITADEL, opened in October 1992, is a three-star hotel offering four-star service. The hotel lies in historic surroundings close to the city\\\'s Central Station and the Royal Palace on \\\de Dam\\\". Hotel CITADEL has the right location, the perfect accommodation and ideal facilities, both for parties and individual (business) travelers. Its experienced staff will ensure that your stay goes well, while the lift, fax facilities, small bar and multi-lingual receptionists will help to improve your comfort. Larger parties are welcome at EMB\\\'s other hotels within a 300 yard radius."

Having visited Amsterdam several times we chose the Agora by it's locality - being on the Singel Canal and close by the Spui and Flowermarket. We were happily not disappointed in our choice. We stayed for 3-nights , and, having arrived on an early am... more

The Acro is a popular hotel that my wife and I stayed in during October 2002. We booked on the internet through www.sashahotels.com, mainly because the costs were reasonable for Amsterdam and the reviews were very positive. If you're arriving at the main more
On my recent trip to Amsterdam I was lucky enough to have the hotel and flights sorted out by one of my buddies - good man! He booked us in to The Hotel De Looier, which is a former diamond factory ( in the 19th century) in the antique district of... more
We stayed at The Hotel Di-Ann for 4 nights in early March 2006. We paid about £100 each for 4 nights bed and breakfast, which we thought was fantastic value for money. The Di-Ann is extremely similar to the Hotel Nadia a few doors down and there really... more
