Advantages Great location, cheap, breakfast and evening meal included
Disadvantages Food not great, bit basic

We picked the Don Bigote Hotel in Palma Nova because we wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay for a few days in September and we certainly got that. The Don Bigote is never going to win any awards for luxury, but it certainly offers comfort and a good location, for an excellent price. Getting to the hotel from the airport in Palma is easiest by taxi. It'll set you back around 35 Euros, but the taxi drivers are all familiar with the area and it's a fairly short 20 minute drive - although it can be a white knuckle ride, depending on the taxi driver! Advantages Quality Budget Accomodation, Air Conditioning, Close to beach
Disadvantages Basic rooms, food can be the same each night

I am of the belief that most people who go on holiday to Majorca, are looking for a cheap/budget summer holiday. So the cheaper the accomodation the better, the Don Bigote hotel definately falls into the category. The surprising point is that what you get for your money is worth EVERY euro. The hotel is situated about 100 metres back from one of the main beaches in Palma Nova. It is placed well back from the pubs/clubs so noise levels are not a problem at night-time. Quick review of Hotel Don Bigote, Palma de Majorca Nova by Stacey.brown 24/09/2007

I had a truly fantastic time at this hotel, By far the most friendly and made you feel very welcome. We enjoyed our stay that much we are hoping to go back next year!! The rooms are basic but you have all the nessessary bits in the rooms and at the end of the day, you only sleep there. There is a wide range of food in the restaurant which is all fresh and all the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended!! less
