Charming, cosy family hotel in the heart of the city near the market square at only 4 min. from the beach, the port, the casino and the station. In the morning, from 8 till 11 you can enjoy an extensive buffet breakfast.
Advantages: Near the town center Disadvantages: No tea or coffee in the room only the mini bar
...Not bad as hotels go but most diffinately not the best.
The hotel is situated in a good position in Le Havre quite approx 10 mins walk from the railway station and easy to find. Close to the hotel is the town centre with plenty of shops.
The hotel lobby is fairly small and in need of some update, the lobby aslo leads directly on to the bar area and to the restaurent.
The staff at the hotel are helpful and pleasant and we had no problemsat check in.
The rooms are small but clean with double bed, bathroom and small seating area and TV (very limited chanel choice ), Note that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms only the mini bar. The rooms could do with updating and are in slight need of re-decoration.
The hotel bar is pleasant and the service was good, but the restaurant is too small and we where...

It is a charming position for a hotel, just a brief stroll from Bruges' beautiful Market Square...

Brugge offers a year-round programme of events, particularly music ranging from jazz to classical
Brugge will mainly appeal to adults, but there are parks and a nearby theme park for kids. There is as mentioned above a seaside resort at Blankenberg about 40 mins away by train
Hotels tend to be upscale. Many of the chains are represented, eg Novotel, Crowne Plaza. You basically have a choice of staying in the town or suburbs, which will be a little cheaper.
I stayed once at the Crowne Plaza (on loyalty points) and it was fabulous, in Burg Square adjacent to the Market Square. The bedroom was wooden panelled. The breakfast in the conservatory was out of this world, hot options, exotic fruit, smoked salmon, cold...
