Advantages: brilliant Disadvantages: whitbread
...Swallow hotels were the best hotel brand in the country. They were owned by vaux at Sunderland for many many years till they turned PLC.
Three years ago whitbread plc bought out the company and transformed the best into Marriott Brand Hotels.
The plan was then to sell off the Swallow Hotels that were not branded , however this did not happen no real buyers and in fact some Swallow Hotels were doing really well.
The two best hotels are Rushyford and The Eden Arms. both old coach houses well managed nice and cosy.
Swallow hotels are called after the Swallow because they always return to the same place every year.

This hotel is well Managed wonderful staff and great food and acomodation .
You all must try it give it a go its sparkling....

Advantages: well situated for site seeing Disadvantages: above a night club
...The HotelEden is in a great spot for site seeing and doing the usual tourist type things and as long as you don't want luxury the rooms are clean and tidy, brekfast was plentiful and served until 10.30 which is good if you've been up late.

On the whole The EdenHotel is an ideal place to stay if you are sightseeing Hen/stag parties or business visits and not looking for luxury five star accomadation...

Advantages: Great location but no other adventages Disadvantages: everything
...I stayed one night in the Eden Plaza and that was enough. The hotel is on a busy main road and the secondry glazing was broken off it's runners so I heard every car and lorry all night. The shower room was old and dirty looking. In fact I skipped a shower as I was not going to step on the floor with bare feet. The walls were dirty and scuffed and the so called satalite TV had two news channels and nothing else. The TV had wires hanging out of it and the decor was somthing out of "Only fools and horses" for example the room numbers were pictures of parrots on cheap plastic. The only ting that was good was that the bedding was clean. DON'T BOOK...

Well it’s nice to be back and get writing again.
I thought I would write about the Eden project as it is a place I have wanted to visit for a long time and at last on this break I got the opportunity.
A LITTLE HISTORY.
