Advantages: the hotel is very near to the promenade and shops Disadvantages: the meals are very basic

the rooms are very nice and tastefully decorated, and the beds are very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space.

when we stayed there,we arrived at approx. 9-30pm and we were told there was a meal waiting for us and to go to the dining room straight away. we sat down and the meal was served, we were astonished to find that it was a vol-au.vent with a mushroom sauce poured over it. the rooms are very nice and tastefully decorated, and the beds are very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space. it is about 5-10 minutes walk to the main shopping centre and 5 minutes walk the other way to the promenade and sea front. the bar is not very big but does have a variety of drinks, one which my wife reccomends for the ladies is a KRIEK which is a cherry beer and i can reccomend the lager.
