Advantages: Location - proximity to railway station Disadvantages: No Internet access in rooms, not wheelchair-friendly
...I stayed at the HotelExcelsior in Munich on a brief overnight stay following a business trip to Munich. The hotel had been recommended by the BayernLB, who I was visiting as part of the trip, and they'd been able to get me a very favourable rate - of EUR 118 for a night including breakfast which was a considerable saving over the rack rate for the hotel. It was particularly practical as the hotel was only a couple of hundred metres from the main railway station (Munich Hbf) which made it a good choice as I could drop my bags off on my way past on the way to the bank. I cose to check in at the same time - and despite the fact that my room was not ready, they were fine about this and had my luggage taken to my room as soon as it did become ready.
The hotel foyer was relatively small, with only a couple of reception desks, but these were...

Advantages: Good central location Disadvantages: None
...We have stayed here a couple of times on airline stopovers, as part of the all-in deal.
The hotel's name is due to that fact that it was originally two hotels which they knocked into one, and kept both names. For this reason it is housed in two tall twin towers.
It's a big hotel with 580 rooms, and is busy all the time. Everything ran smoothly with our stay, and there was no problem with the room, which was completely normal, comfortable, and unremarkable for a hotel of that type - a medium priced range big city Singapore hotel. En suite - tea and coffee making - TV, aircon, etc....
The hotel has a wide range of facilities as you'd expect, including laundry service, moneychanger, etc. One interesting aspect of the hotel is the swimming pool. It is off the foyer, and is glass sided so you can see the people swimming as you sit...

Advantages: Superior comfort compared to most Disadvantages: A little on the expensive side
...Stayed at the Hotel for 5 days/4 nights at the end of May/beginning of June, have stayed in various 5* hotels around European cities and this was up in the top list. Very pleasant stay, all the staff always had a smile and welcome and were very helpful if we needed any queries answering. Breakfast was ample, plenty of choice, the bar area is very nice, though after a business meeting/forum during one day of our stay it was heaving all night, think there must have been some hung over "suits" the following day. Rooms were spacious, we had a King Bed superior which even with an extra bed for our 8 year old son we still had plenty of room. For the shopaholics amongst you the main shopping area is a not far walk from the hotel, so plenty of eateries available nearby, or turn left out of the hotel and go towards the Rhine and a mass of eating...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
