Hotel Felix is a traditional, large victorian building on the outside but its really modern looking on the inside.

The hotel stands in really spacious surroundings and it has a large terrace and lovely gazebo for outside dining which is lovely especially when the weathers nice.
We found all the staff to be very professional and friendly and we got checked in very quickly - about 5 minuites in total.
The rooms were modern and minimilistic looking and were very spacious, our room was simply decorated and the colours were very neutral, the view from our room was really pretty overlooking the gorgeous gardens surrounding the hotel.
We paid approx £90 per night for a double room and this included breakfast which i thought was really reasonable.
Our room had a large en suite bathroom which was lined in dark grey slate and had a large waterfall type shower and there was also a large bath, you couldnt fault the cleanliness of everywhere.
Our room had a cd player, tv with satellite, a mini bar hairdryer, laptop connection, phone, tea & coffee making facilities with fresh milk, voicemail to name just a few of the room facilities.. Our king size four poster bed was really comfortable and we even had egyptian bed sheets and covers which felt really soft and nice!

The 'grafitti resturaunt' was outstanding - the food was really fresh and tasted very good. The staff were very good and we didnt have to wait very long to get served
This resturaunt has won several awards for best hotel resturaunt and hotel resturaunt of the year recently and i can definately see why as the food was great, all of the dishes on the menu sounded really nice and there was something that would appeal to everyone - the food was modern british cooking with a meditteranian twist!
There is a few nice function rooms for meetings, weddings and parties. This would be an ideal venue for a wedding with all the outside space..
There is a couple of really nice reception rooms on the ground floor of the hotel where you can have a drink or a bite to eat, again very nicely decorated in neutral colours, lots of really comfy black, leather bucket chairs and there are lots of large arched doorways, there is several large open fires too which makes it feel really cosy and homely.
I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone as the food is great, the accomodation is outstanding and its set on large beautiful grounds.
