---Reception/Check In---
This desk is manned 24/7 and I always found the staff to be extremely helpful and polite. Like almost all Finns, they speak English better than many British people and as well as checking you in and drawing up your bill, they are more than happy to call taxis free of charge and to offer advice about tourist activities. Although I did not arrange any trips through them, they are able to book some day trips around Helsinki for you and in my case they recommended a wonderful day trip by pleasure steamer to the nearby town of Porvoo.
Although there is a lift to save you from struggling up the tight spiral staircase there is no porter service so guests usually have to drag their cases up to their rooms themselves, which would be a problem if you were disabled. Indeed, I am not sure how wheelchair friendly this hotel is ...

My mum frequently comes to Finland on business and this is where she stays whenever she's in Helsinki. This means it's the place I've stayed on all my previous visits here. I've never found a reason to complain about it, but then again, my mum has always been the one paying.
Scandic are a big company who have hotels all over Finland, as well as in Swedon and, I think, Norway.
--- Location and Transport---
The Scandic is on Mannerhiemintie, which is a large street running straight through the city centre. It's about five or ten minutes walk from the very centre of town, but there's a tram stop right outside if it's cold or you're feeling lazy. Three different numbers of trams run down Mannerhiemintie at this point, so you shouldn't have to wait too long. The Finnair bus, which goes directly to the airport, stops immediately ...

i like to drink on the weekends and i came across this when with mates, i didnt have a clue what it was, but its really nice, it has a really nice taste and even nicer after taste. Mickey finns is a similar drink to Sourz, tasting sweet and being lower in alcohol than a normal shot, it comes in a smaller bottle but is only £3.80. you are supposed to shot this drink but i wouldnt say you really need to its not that strong, i would say its a good drink to take on a night out if you're aiming to get drunk, its 15% so not as strong as a lot of sprits but still quite strong.
i dont see this drink around enough, ive only seen it in tesco next to the shots of drink like "sourz" but if you do see it then give it a try.
THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
