The Flamingo Oasis is the ideal hotel if you are looking for somewhere nice to stay in Benidorm. Having visited the hotel twice, once two months after it first opened and second a couple of weeks ago, i was not disappointed the second time.
On the first occasion I visited this hotel, two weeks before we were due to fly I was contacted by the tour operator and avised that their was currently some building work being undertake on the hotel adgacent to the hotel and that it was minor building work and should not directly affect us. As you can imagine you would genuinely be worried about where you were going when being told this and I was wondering what to expect.
Upon arriving at the hotel there is a nice driveway with a ratating door that takes you into the fantastic spacious reception. Greeted by palm trees and other exotic plants growing inside these large glass windows, the hotela t a first glance was delightful.
The reception team were very efficient, with it being an all includive hotel, then you have to go through the procedures of having your photo's taken and being registered however this process did not take long at all and we were on our way to the room.
THe hotel has 6 lifts available however their are 26 floors to the hotel and really six lifts aren't good enough and the only problem incurred was at certain times during the day you could be waiting some time for a lift to arrive.
The rooms are very spacious with living area too, very clean and nice sized balcony which on both occasions U have received a pool view at no extra cost. The bathrooms have double sick, bath, shower, bede and clean towels are put in the rooms everyday.
Looking out from the balcony first time, we looked to see what building work was going on at the hotel next door, however the building work was actually building the hotel which at this current time was only part built. This did not put us off as the team at the hotel did everything to make your entertaining and forget about any noise going on. The second time visited it was nice to see the finished hotel that they had been working on and in a funny sense we actually missed the noise that was their before.
The hotels has a large pool with childrens pool downstair, an indoor pool and also an adults only rooftop plunge pool with bar. All food and drink is free up until 11pm at nite when you can take a walk into the twon and sample the local atmosphere.
There was entertainment every nite, shows and games for kids and these were really very good, entertainment lasted until 11pm, when all inclusive stopped but they would carry on with a disco until the early hours. During the day their are both adult and childrens activites with films being shown daily if people want to catch what is currently on at the cinema.
Food was okay, not too brilliant, however their was a good selection and a chef their daily to calve one or two fresh pieces of meet which was a nice added toucvh instead of helping yourself to meats in various sauce. Childrens food is great.
An all round good hotel which is not located directly in the hustle and bustle of Benidorm, probably 600 metres away so if there are no building works going on, this is a must.

Advantages: Excellent rooms, service, food, entertainment Disadvantages: Communication could have been better and too many machines requiring euros that kids bugged us for.
