I went to this hotel in February for a long weekend with my partner and some other family members.
The hotel is situated in a side street called Calle Ramon Gallud which is not too far from the sea and the main marina/promenade. It was however on a fairly busy road which would probably be even busier in the summer. The room that we were in faced out on to the road and on the first morning the bin men came at around 3am which woke me up. I also noticed ... ...and the entertainment in the hotel in the evening was different. It appeared as though it might have been a local singles club, but we could not understand the language and this may have been only through the winter months
Drinks were expensive in the hotel but very generous with the quantity of the spirits.
There is an underground car park which was excellent as it was locked and safe but there was a charge for this.

Advantages: Very close to all facilities. Good value for money. English spoken. Disadvantages: A tad noisy during high season.
...have stayed at this Torrevieja hotel several times (originally at the recommendation of my Spanish lawyers),before purchasing a property in the area. The hotel claims 2 stars but in my opinion and that of my partner, it is equal to many 4 star hotels. My lawyer explained that if they apply to be rated 4* they will have to pay much higher taxes, so they remain only 2*.
The hotel is centrally located just off the main shopping street, Calle Ramon ... ...marina/promenade. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. The little balconies overlooking the street are excellent places to enjoy a morning cuppa or a late nightcap:-)
I'm not sure what the high season prices are but when I have stayed in September/October/November/December the price has been an absolute bargain at 53 euros (£35 or $US70) for a double room. ...
