I went to this hotel in February for a long weekend with my partner and some other family members.
The hotel is situated in a side street called Calle Ramon Gallud which is not too far from the sea and the main marina/promenade. It was however on a fairly busy road which would probably be even busier in the summer.
The room that we were in faced out on to the road and on the first morning the bin men came at around 3am which woke me up. I also noticed that I was able to hear people in the next room quite clearly. Family who were in rooms facing out towards the pool found them quiet and had no disturbance / interruptions. The pool was closed at the time of our stay so not sure what it would be like in the summer months The room was clean and the linen was changed each day (we were there for 3 nights) The food at breakfast was okay, unfortunately on the first morning there was not much choice and the food was lukewarm. On the other mornings it was okay for the basics and had some lovely croissants and a small choice of fruit . The water for the tea was tepid and the coffee was horrible. There were not many people staying at the time so not sure of how they would cater for in the busier times.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the entertainment in the hotel in the evening was different. It appeared as though it might have been a local singles club, but we could not understand the language and this may have been only through the winter months Drinks were expensive in the hotel but very generous with the quantity of the spirits. There is an underground car park which was excellent as it was locked and safe but there was a charge for this.
On the whole the hotel was cheap and in an ideal spot for us at the time as it was in a central location. The town of Torrevieja was very pleasant and the beach and sea looked very inviting even in February.
