Advantages: LOCATION Disadvantages: Bar shuts too early
Hi and thankyou for your interest in my review. I have worked in the Travel industry for over 20 years now and thought It would be nice to share my experiences and thoughts. I do hope this review is helpful and would appreciate a rating at the end.
Well then lets get started.
*********COST**********
This is always my favourite place to start !!!! Well this hotel is in my opinion an average cost for a 3* hotel inRome at about £105 per room per night including breakfast. I know you can definately get cheaper priced hotels but I was happy with this cost for what you get (all will be revealed).
*************LOCATION************
I have to say that the Hotel Impero is in a super location, in a lovely leafy area. I would best descibe the location as right in the centre of the historical art city of Rome, overlooking the Roman Opera ...
Advantages: Central, cheap, clean, Disadvantages: holiday was too short!!
, there are two metro stations nearby too, only 5mins in either direction from the hotel. Unfortunately the metro in Rome is limited, there are currently only two lines although they are in the process of building a third. Once on board the bus you have to stamp it in the machines provided.
:::The Main Sights:::

The Vatican is of course a must on any visit to Rome. We found this fasinating. Although be aware that the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums tend to only be open in ...
Advantages: Good location, good value for money, polite staff Disadvantages: Small rooms

Why we chose the hotel
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My boyfriend and I decided to take a weekend city break in Rome, we were joined by his parents who travelled seperately. We looked on Expedia for a good deal and we found one with reasonable BA flights and 3 nights stay at Hotel Villa Patrizi. We looked at the information and pictures of the hotel on the internet and it looked good so we decided to book it. Now we have been to the hotel, and looking back at the pictures, they are true to life and do not decieve you in anyway that the hotel looks different to what it does.
