Fuengirola Park Hotel, Well what can I say, been to this Hotel 4 times and had a great time on each occasion. The Hotel isn't strictly speaking in Fuengirola, its about 1 1/2 miles further along the coast in a much quieter area known as Torreblanca, which in itself no bad thing, as Fuengirola's nightlife can be quite loud to say the least.
The Hotel is a very friendly place to stay, but probably suited to Families that either require a more relaxed holiday or just the slightly older generation, but still, having said this my two teenagers have always enjoyed themselves there.
It deserves its three star rating, a sizeable Hotel consisting of 447 rooms which are in two separated blocks on either side of the complex, but joined via the dining area ,and club. There are 7 comfortable lifts, which access the 10 floors.
One side of the complex is mainly for people who have chosen a meal and room option, and the other is for people self-catering or who are long stay holidays.
The Rooms are very clean and spacious, and tastefully decorated, Colour
TV, Aircon, Safe, WC, Shower, Bath and Bidet, Hairdryer & Shaving point, also ample wardrobe space.
Near to the main reception area, there is a bar and seating area, which also include sofa's and relaxing soft furnishings, you can buy tea/coffee and light snacks from the bar as well. Adjoining this area is a card playing area, great for a game of cribbage nb no children allowed in this area.
Pass the main desk is another comfortable area set out with a small Library for your pleasure to while away a few hours, Also here you will find all your leaflets etc, on what's on in the Hotel and out and about.
The lower floors consist of a large dining room serving Buffet style English/Continental Breakfast/Lunch and Tea, a packed Lunch can be made available on request the day before at the main reception. The food and service are excellent quality, not a bad tummy insight.
On leaving the Dining area, staying on the lower level, venture outside, here is a games area, with pool tables, air hockey and outdoor swimming pool, with separate shallow area for the tots, in the summer months there is also an outside bar, which also serves ice-cream and snacks, There is a large seating patio area with tables and poolside sun beds, also a lawned garden area for those seeking a touch of shade. Games are generally played here that are organised by the entertainments team, also step aerobics and water aerobics. Also Available are Tennis Courts, Archery and Air Rifle Shooting.
In this area there is also a Gift shop and Hairdressers.
Further on you enter the Entertainments Club, a Large club catering for the hotels guests with ease, nightly entertainment is supplied and dancing, when we were last there, they put on a Parrot Show, Flamenco Dancers and British style Bingo was played for either prizes or Cash, entertainments board in the main reception supplied all details.
Leaving the Hotel, turn to your left and only 260m always is Fuengirola Beautiful Sandy Beaches, with Beach Bars, Parasol and Sun bed Hire, also a vast array of Water Sports and Fishing available.
There is a very wide palm tree lined Promenade and on the Roadside there are plenty of Shops/Bars and Café's leading all the way into Fuengirola Town centre.
For those wishing to stay Self catering, there are many small supermarkets in the area, Torreblanca also has a local English speaking Doctor, Chemist and Laundrette.
Opposite the Hotel a little way up a small bank is Torreblanca train station, which is always on time and runs every 20 minutes in both directions from Fuengirola to Malaga, It also stops at Malaga Airport, which my Nephew finds ideal, as he books his holiday here, by finding the best deals on the internet and booking cheap flights, he really does save a small fortune. The two main operators to book with are, First Choice and Air tours, the later offers special Long stay Winter deals as well.

Great detailed review!
We stayed here last year and may go back this year with our 6 month old daughter. Only thing we didn't enjoy too much was the food but we found a great english cafe on the beach front who looked after us a little too well, so we ended up there all week!
