I've recently come back from Krakow and I stayed at the Hotel Galicya. I have to say I was very impressed with the hotel. It is situated a few miles from the city centre and whilst this isnt ideal it does mean that it is nice and quite and that you can get a good nights sleep.
The hotel itself is only a few years old and it looks modern and is very clean. The towels were replaced everyday we were there and the service was very helpful and friendly. The room cost approx £40 for a double room per night and it had everything you need in a hotel room. Clean bathroom with shower (toiletries were replaced daily), clean sheets and a TV should you need one. The room did lack air conditioning (a fan was provided).
We were provided with a continental breakfast which was very nice (the food was fresh, hot and was set out like a buffet). On the whole the hotel was one of the better hotels I have stayed in and I plan to go back later this year for a proper tourist holiday (this trip was a stag do)
