(?Julius Caesar in Egypt?; also known simply as ?GiulioCesare?), with libretto by Nicola Francesco Haym, after Giacomo Grancesco Bussani?s work of the same name. The sheer length of the piece, with its typically Baroque musical da capo repeats of many verses can easily render this work into a completely boring and tedious affair. However, as you will see for yourself, ?boring? and ?tedious? will hardly apply to this particular staging as conceived by David McVicar and friends. Why we chose the hotel
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My boyfriend and I decided to take a weekend city break in Rome, we were joined by his parents who travelled seperately. We looked on Expedia for a good deal and we found one with reasonable BA flights and 3 nights stay at Hotel Villa Patrizi. We looked at the information and pictures of the hotel on the internet and it looked good so we decided to book it. Now we have been to the hotel, and looking back at the pictures, they are true to life and do not decieve you in anyway that the hotel looks different to what it does.
Eventually, after an hour or two of searching we came across this hotel, it was pretty much in the centre of the tourist attractions and had good reviews so we decided to book it, we were not disappointed. The hotel is three star (Ciao's description says one star for some reason).
The outside of the hotel is very nice, a traditional six storey building like most in Rome with a rusty clay look. It is ...
