Advantages: Immaculate rooms, polite and courteous staff Disadvantages: Bathroom became rather hot and damp
Spent three nights at the Europa Tyrol, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is located opposite to the main station in Innsbruck and is only a short walk to the shops and the Golden Roof which is at the heart of the city. The hotel is actually connected to the main railway via a tunnel which offers exclusive use for guests.
The rooms were immaculate, and very nicely furnished. My room had a typical Tyrolean feel which resembled a log cabin. The rooms were rather compact, however were sufficient. The bathroom was quite large and had a bath/ shower. My room however did not seem to have any ventilation in the bathroom and it did become rather damp and hot. The bedroom was air conditioned which due to the lovely weather was a godsend.
The staff were all polite and would tend to every need. The bar area was clean ...
Advantages: Classic chocolate bar Disadvantages: They changed the nougat filling
This is perhaps the most classic chocolate bar from my childhood. It has long been my favourite as a kid and I sort of have to say it still is so as not to feel as if I have disowned it (sorry Mars Bar but I have found other favourites - I still love you though!).
'A Mars a day helps you work rest and play' - this was the little catchphrase that was associated with Mars Bar. Funny really; it's like saying a chocolate bar a day is good for you. The slogan has now changed to 'Pleasure you can't measure' which definitely seems more appropriate.
A standard Mars bar comes at 58g, about 11cm long and 1.8cm high. You'll pay about 32p for this bar in supermarkets which is well below the norm of 50p. They used to be more expensive but in recent years, the classic nougat and caramel filling has obviously lost its appeal as new and more ...

Advantages: Cheap, Fantastic pool bar, party resort Disadvantages: noisy, basic
The hotel itself is your typical 18-30s resort, Noisy, full of chavs and very very basic. In my opinion you get what you pay for, we paided £245 for 2 weeks accomodation, flights and transfers!
It's location however is fantastic and the pool bar is a major plus. The rooms we had were abit further away from the pool and facing away from the strip however the noise from both were still fairly audible till atleast 5 in the morning. I would strongly recommend asking for a room at the back and taking earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
The rooms were cleaned most days but were very basic, there was a fridge but nothing else and i believe it switched off whenever you took the room key out of the electricity switch, we ate out most nights and only used the fridge for breakfast items.
The pool bar is great for chilling out in ...
