I went to this hotel in August, 2007. I paid in advance for two nights.

was disappointing inside. First of all, the floors are all wooden which keep you away from any peace. We went to our rooms and the rooms were
pretty disappointing as well. I paid almost 4500 for two nights and this
is what I found inside: 1) Room was extremely cold as outside temperature
was about ... ...the name of hot
water, hotel had given a tap of hot water. It was not coming in shower or in
basin. In 2200Rs you don\'t expect this kind of things. In fact, during the trip I had some hotels just in 1000Rs and they had at least hot water in shower. 4) Because my friends got ill, we had to leave the hotel
next day because she said she is going to die in this hotel. When
we were checking out, the hotel manage told us that we will loose 50%

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Indecent staff, unacceptable behaviour, pathetic service, poor rooms with bad odour, horrible food
...my chest and seeked the hotel people for help in the late evening around 11+PM. The first time my wife called up, the attitude was very negative and simply the person in the front desk had disconnected the call. The next time, he gave us a misleading and wrong information that there are no doctors available, and there are no hospitals that work round the clock.
We were new to Munnar, and not aware of the hospitals / doctors. This awareness is a ... ...When we came back to Hotel Hillview, to my unpleasant surprise, i found the Reservation Manager, wanting us to checkout immediately, when we had not seen Munnar at all. He initially admitted the fact that they provided wrong and misleading information and risking the guest's life there by. However, later when we requested that we wanted a day's stay more to look around Munnar, the behavior of the reservation manager turned unbearable.
