Advantages: Luxurious hotel, great facilities Disadvantages: Very pink and expensive!
...Disneyland ParisHotel
I must admit that the (VERY!!!!) pink Disneyland ParisHotel was not my first choice when visiting Disneyland Paris recently as it did look a bit girlie for me! I have been to DP a few times before and stayed at the Hotel new York which I have always thought was a great hotel. however, in the spirit of compromise I agreed to stay at the Disneyland ParisHotel!
The hotel appears to me to be themed on a grand Victorian Floridian style hotel and is very grand. Having stayed at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Walt Disney World which this hotel is based on it is neither as large nor grand but more whimsical and fits in very well in Disneyland Paris.
The rooms:
The rooms are very elegantly decorated in pale pastel colours and our room featured a massive double bed but I know that rooms for four...

Advantages: Fantastic location and large sized room! Disadvantages: Breakfast disappointing
...Fresh off the plane from paris i thought I'd share my thoughts on this hotel in Paris where my best friend and I spent a long weekend.
We chose the hotel for its location- close to shopping district and centre of Paris and we werent disappointed there. We were feeling confident about the hotel as we had had good communication with them before we left- we had changed dates and asked to leave our luggage in the hotel as we were arriving early.
We were not disappointed when we arrived- the outside of the hotel was a freshly painted blue. of all the buildings in the street it was by far the best cared for giving a very good impression. inside, the staff could not have been more friendly and willing to help. we spoke in French to them but I did hear them speaking English with other guests. the desk is manned 24/7 which was a relief...

Advantages: Lots to see and do, the metro, Disadvantages: Eating out can be expensive, everyone else is there too (everyone loves Paris)
...have something to see the next time I get to Paris. Instead we walked across the river to the right bank and passed Hôtel de Ville on our way towards Pompidou Center. Hôtel de Ville is the home of the mayor and city council and it is a reconstruction of a town hall situated here. The building itself is beautiful but the square in front of the building was once the main site for all sorts of executions. The guidebook describes an execution where a man was tied to 4 strong horses and ripped to pieces. It seems like mans creativity has no ends when it comes to horrifying stuff like this.
Pompidou and Marais
When walking from Notre Dame it didn't take us long to get to Centre Pompidou . We had a vague plan to visit it but the plans were terminated when we found out that the museum is closed every Tuesday. But I'm not really into modern art...
