For those of you who have already been to Prague and want to go back, this is the place to go.
In April, six of us including my boyfriend and I went to Prague for 6 nights. It cost around Ł400 per couple for the hotel, staying in a luxurious, top quality hotel - worth every penny. Hotel transfers from the airport were around Ł20 for four (about Ł15 for two people though) and we learnt the first time to go to the information desk at the airport to get the cost of the journey before we got a taxi outside.
Our first impressions were WOW!!!!!
It is located just a two minute walk from the old town square and the Charles Bridge.
The hotel was so lovely - from outside looking in all we could see was the glass front doors and a big fresh, white lobby. On walking in, there was a bar, sofa, the reception desk and a glass spiral staircase leading to the toilets downstairs.
We checked in and went straight to our room - it had a double bed, tv, radio, dvd player, glass desk and chair, two single seat sofa chairs and a small table. The cupboard was at the side of the bathroom and made of stainless steel and glass, but without doors. The door to the bathroom was a huge mirror sliding door with glass either side. The separate toilet and shower rooms were inside this glass room and had frosted glass doors!! The only problem was that from the bed you could see someone on the toilet - or at least their shadow - which was not exactly appropriate!
Luxury is an understatement!!
Breakfast was served from 6.30am-11.30am and there was a wide range of food to chose from - freshly squeezed juices - orange, pineapple, apple etc, cereal, breads & sweet bread, croissants, hot plates had scrambled eggs, fried mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes, sausages etc. Also, you could order speciality coffees, crepes, omelettes, any other type of egg, such as egg benedict etc. It was lovely looking out the huge windows to see the courtyard in the morning.
The gym was okay but not for everyone as it only had a treadmill, cycling machine, weights, weights bench, tv, but had a shower room and changing room. Also, it had a fridge - stocked daily - full of water.
The bar was open from 09.00 am - 01.00 am and room service was available from 09.00 am - 01.00 am.
The hotel also has Disabled facilities as there are two guests rooms and the public rooms are barrier-free accesses for disabled travellers.
The guest service includes: Concierge, room service, laundry/dry cleaning, multi-lingual staff, porter service, car rental, limousine-service.
There is a Garage with 25 guarded indoor parking spaces.
For any of you readers, who like to treat yourselves on holiday there is a Tony Guy Hairdressing, state-of-the-art salon, located just two minutes away, offers exclusive for guests of Hotel Josef special rates (cut and blow dry)!! Worth a visit - especially discounted!
There you have it - this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend anyone going to Prague to look out for this hotel - especially a special offer as it is quite expensive - but worth every penny!!

This sounds wonderful. We camped when I went to Prague, but I'm tempted to go back now because it's so cheap, we could afford to stay in luxury accommodation! Glad to hear hotels are finally getting up to speed on disabled access. x
