Hotel Kolumbs, Liepaja

In my opinion, hotel Kolumbs ir the best hotel in Liepaja!
I have spent a night at other Hotels there, but none of them had such a great service.
Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and tasty breakfast! The guy and lady at check-in was always pleased to help us.
The price is adequate for 4* hotel :)

The Standard rooms aren't very spacious, but I did not find any problems with that as they are very comfortable and the design is well done too. The bathroom with either a shower or a bath is spacious enough and very comfortable to use. The comfort room I tried had a jacuzzi instead of a bath, but it also had a shower. The room itself was rather large and teh huge bed was very comfortable to sleep in. That room also had some very interesting design elements, as it was on teh corner of the building.

The only bad thing about the rooms is the sound isolation, as, if you have a window open, you will constantly hear noises from the street. But on the other hand, you can ask the stuff to give you a room on the other side of the hotel, then, then only noise you will hear is a tram!
But anyway, i could sleep quite well even with open window (doors, as it was french balcony). And still, there are better rooms with less sound as well.

From my point of view, the breakfast was excellent because of teh wide sortiment of various goods, like warm bread, pancakes, many different kinds of bacon and chease, youghurts, coffe, tea, breakfeast cereal, fruit and so on.

And i think the restaurant itself has a very attractive and clean design, with very tidy and professinaly decorated. The cooks seem to be very professional because each of the different meals is very well servered and made by professionals. The portions are rather large and the taste is excelent. I have tried things thre that I do not like in general, but they even could make them tasty.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone - family with kids, young couples, disabled persons as well as seniors.

We didn't try the sauna and massage, but it looks well done as well as the other products this hotel if offering.
