A very comfortable hotel with friendly and it would appear recently refitted. Beautiful located not more than 10-15 minutes walk from the central station and the main shopping area. We were there between Christmas and the new year, with a snow covered city centre, The hotel is located next to a major water way with beautiful canal side views,( though the hotel is set back slightly so don't expect views from your room). The hotel provided all the usual facilities, such as phone, internet and TV ( No pay for view lots of channels and all free and multilanguage.)and a great and varied breakfast, with plenty of fresh and tasty food to choose. Though there is no room service to talk of the staff are happy to make sandwiches on request and they have an arrangement with the local Dominos pizza who bring orders directly to your room and charge the bill to your room. It has a homely and friendly bar were you are always welcome. Copenhagen is a great city and the Hotel Kong Arthur is a great base from which to see it.
Again requested more info ...well here goes... At first glanze the hotel looked small and set back but on walking through the doors you are met by a magnificent stair case and many suits of armour. the walls are dress with statly and appropriate picture and object that reflect the ragal round table theme that runs through the building even to the key phobes that are representations of the mythical round table of the all so infamous British king. The staff speak fantastic English, as do many europeans to the shame of the English nation. Our room was relatively small compared to some hotel we have stayed in, however it was very comfortable and provide a home from which to explore Copenhagen.... which is after all why we went and not to lay in room watching TV. Finally for the sake of balance, on the down side the pillow were a little on the thin side, tho this seems to be a scandanavian trait rather than a problem paerculiar to the Kong Arthur.
