My sister and I shared a lovely holiday in Alghero at the La Playa hotel during October 2007. The weather was good, the hotel is lovely and clean, the staff friendly and the food wonderful. Salvatore and his sisters obviously take great pride in running the hotel and aim to give their guests an excellent service. The hotel is situated just a couple of minutes walk from beautiful beaches and about 20 minutes walk from the old walled town and extensive marina. The old town is very interesting with it's narrow cobbled streets and myriad of shops selling coral jewellery. I'd certainly recommend it and cannot wait to return! ...
