Me and my family stayed here a few years ago. You can't fault this hotel for luxury. After all it's a 5 star hotel. The rooms are spacious, it has a large open air pool with plenty of sun loungers. There are 2 restaurants which offer a variety of choices. However prices are high, and a better option would be to drive to Marbella about 10 minutes away. You will be spoilt for choices with an array of cuisines catered for. One downside if you don't have a car you have to take Taxi's everywhere which could be costly if traveling longer distances. A feature of the hotel is the cabane which is a 5 minute drive away, with regular shuttle buses to take you there. Here you can relax away from the crowds on your private stretch of beach or by the swimming pool. Full size beds will have to be booked in advance and sun beds are available but for a fee, about 18 euros. A restaurant is located on the beach and the buffet lunch there is recommended. It's worth checking the web site for special deals on rooms, we paid £80 a night with breakfast. Overall a pleasant and enjoyable stay at Los Monteros.
