The room itself was fine, not too small, not too stuffy. It wasn't overlooking anything spectacular, the window faced a car park, which, I suppose, was better than being woken up by the traffic of one of the most famous and busiest streets ... ...husband.
The hotel has a sauna and a steam room. The roof pool was a bit cold to use, but we did try the sauna. It was good and affordable, just 9 Euros for both of us. The gym for hotel guests is complimentary.
Check-out was also quick and cheerful. Their room rate is 199 Euros per room plus VAT plus breakfast.

The room itself was fine, not too small, not too stuffy. It wasn't overlooking anything spectacular, the window faced a car park, which, I suppose, was better than being woken up by the traffic of one of the most famous and busiest streets in Barcelona.
There was nothing in the room, however, which would make it stand out from others. A double bed, a desk, 2 bedside tables, a wardrobe, a coffee table but no coffee or tea making facilities. A bulb in one of the bedside lamps was faulty and I asked the house-keeping to replace it. 4 nights wasn't long enough for them to fix it, we never had it changed. "A five-star hotel", I said to my husband.
The bathroom was clean and included a usual supply of soap, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and a shower cap.
Breakfast was good, apart from on Sunday morning, when it was so busy that we and many others had to wait outside for 5 minutes for tables to become available. "It will all be on Ciao", I said to my husband.
