Advantages: One tub lasts a long time, feels indulgent Disadvantages: Fragrance might not suit everyone
The Sanctuary is a ladies-only day spa in Covent Garden, London which has produced several ranges of differently scented indulgent body treats, and their website - www.thesanctuary.co.uk - describes the Mande Lular collection as one of its Signature Ranges. The items can be purchased on their website (current listed price - £8.99) or from Boots (the only retailer to stock it other than the spa itself), who have sold it for several years (currently on sale in a 475ml tub for £8.76, or as a 50ml travel-sized edition for £2.20). Advantages: Leaves your skin feeling gorgeous and soft Disadvantages: its in a tub rather than a tube so can be a bit messy
If you've read my op on The Sanctuary Balinese Mande Rub you'll already know that I'm off on holiday soon and am trying to prepare my skin so that I get the best tan I can without burning, peeling and all that nasty stuff. I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights.
LOCATION:
The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal.
PRICE:
Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time ...
