...I was on a city break to Prague and had a winderful time. The weather was great, the food outstanding, the people friendly, the hotel fantastic. While in Prague there is so much to do and see that you will undoubtedly run out of time. I used a whole day to visit Terezin and the Ghettos - humbly to a huge degree. The castle is beautiful and the surrounding buildings and churches are fabulous works of art. I crossed Charles Bridge and was fascinated by some of the sights. The lunch cruise was a bit of a disappointment and I would not do this again or recommend it. I found getting around Prague relatively easy - primarily due to the location of the hotel....

...This Prague Marriott Hotel is a beautiful and simply stunning place to stay. I had the priveledge of staying there for 4 nights. The staff are very helpful and friendly and can not do enough for you. They are extremely helpful with the various excursions that are available and will take the time to advise you of everything - you never feel as though they are trying to rush you. The hotel is located in what must be considered one of the very best locations. There is a tram stop nearby, the underground is only a few metres away, the bus texcursions/trips stopoff point is just along the street. Simply the best location you possibly want. This hotel is what 5 star hotels should all be like....

...I visited Prague in March 2000 with my girlfriend. We arrived in Prague after a 3 hour flight from the UK via Amsterdam for £150 incl tax ex Newcastle. The journey time time to the city with a Limo whcih we booked with our hotel , took 30 minutes and cost only £12.00 plus TIP.I would recommend booking the limo service if possible, as taxis in Prague can be expensive as unscrupulous drivers can charge toursits what they feel like.
Prague is a very compact city, and therefore I would not recommend hiring a car. Most of Prague is connected on a tram system which is beneficial way of traveling. You can buy a tree day ticket whcih is also valid on the bus and underground for only £3.00.You can also walk around Prague , but beware of the banks...they are steep than they look!!!!Or is it just we being unfit??The clime to the top is worth...
