Located just opposite Gare Du Nord station in the heart of Paris, the hotelliege is ever so slightly out of sight behind a few brighter signed buildings. It?s on the left hand side of the road as you cross over and has a nice subtle pink sign indicating its presence.
How much / How to Book?

We booked through lastminute.com who arranged everything on our behalf. When we arrived our reservations were correct and we were given a key card for or room with no troubles at all.
My sister and I shared a twin room at £70 per night. I thought this was pretty reasonable considering the great location and proximity to the station ...

Are you seated comfortably? This is a long review of my stay at Blackpool?s Grand Metropole.
WHAT AND WHERE?
The Grand MetropoleHotel, Blackpool boasts that it is the only hotel in Blackpool located between the sea and Blackpool promenade which is certainly the truth. From the hotel there are fabulous views of the Irish Sea. The hotel is fairly close to both the North Pier and Blackpool Tower and is within walking distance from many of Blackpool's attractions. There are numerous bars, restaurants and nightspots within a few minutes walking distance of the hotel, some even less than a minute away.

My boyfriend booked two nights in this hotel for me as a Christmas present. On arrival by tube it was very easy to find. The hotel is serviced by Edgware Road station on the Bakerloo, Distirct and Circle lines and so has excellent connections. It's impossible to miss the hotel on exiting the staion. Although we didn't use the buses there was a constant stream of them up and down Edgware Road.
First impressions on walking into the hotel were brilliant. The reception and bar area were one massive space, all marble and luxury. The check-in service was excellent, and in spite of there being a queue we were sorted quickly and directed to the lifts to find our room. This hotel is huge, but the rooms and lifts well signed and easy to find.
The room was lovely, with a massive comfortable bed and nice bathroom, usual hospitality tray etc ...
